WSET首席执行官获不列颠帝国勋章

2018年新年期间，英国葡萄酒与烈酒基金会（Wine & Spirit Education Trust，简称WSET）首席执行官伊恩·哈里斯（Ian Harris）因在葡萄酒和烈酒行业所做的杰出贡献被英女王授予了不列颠帝国成员勋章（Member of the Order of the British Empire）。哈里斯表示，能获得成员勋章是莫大的荣耀，教育是每一个行业成功的基础，他很荣幸能领导一个教育机构，为培养未来的葡萄酒和烈酒行业专家尽自己的一份力。

不列颠帝国勋章（the Order of the British Empire）属于英国骑士授勋制度，主要授予在艺术、科学等领域及公益服务方面作出杰出贡献的人士。该勋章共分五个等级，从高到低分别为骑士大十字勋章（Knight/ Dame Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire）、骑士指挥官勋章（Knight/ Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire）、司令勋章（Commander of the Order of the British Empire）、官员勋章（Officer of the Order of the British Empire）和成员勋章。

　　哈里斯与葡萄酒结缘于在波尔多（Bordeaux）工作的一年，之后的二十多年，他一直从事酒类行业的市场与销售工作。2002年，深藏在心底的教育激情促使他加入了WSET，成为其首席执行官。在他任职的这十五年中，WSET年学员数量从10,000人跃增至85,000人，并于2015年获得了英女王企业奖（Queen’s Award for Enterprise）。

　　如今，WSET培训已覆盖了超过70个国家，认证教育机构逾700个，为葡萄酒和烈酒爱好者及从业人员提供多语言（19种）、不同深度（4阶段）的葡萄酒和烈酒课程，并为通过认证的学员提供9种资格证书。（文/Emma）
